Traumatic break ups

I was in a stable relationship for the last three years. We were very happy together when we were in college. After college, we were recruited in our respective jobs. We could not meet up regularly and we growing apart. I had noticed that he was not giving me enough attention as much as he used to previously. I reasoned with myself that it might be because of work pressure. On his birthday, I decided to give him surprise visit. Well I dropped in at his place, I found him in a compromising position with another girl.
Break up was the only option as I did not want to continue with someone who was two-timing me. Breaking up is not as easy as it sounds. When I stopped talking to my boyfriend I realized that life without him was difficult. A void had been created in life that could never be filled up again. I was feeling suicidal and wretched.
